The institute must have its own premises.
In case the premises are taken on hire, the lease must be on long
term basis. The institute must have qualified and experienced faculty.
The institute's library must have a good selection of books and
subscribe to scientific and technical journals of relevance. Hands
on training using computers should form at least one half of the
allocated time for instructions and training. Infrastructure in
terms of hardware & licensed software should be self-sufficient
and updated.
Every eligible institute
is granted accreditation only after a screening committee of experts
visits the institute. Only then, based on their analysis, provisional
accreditation is granted

Initially, the Accreditation is
- Provisional
-3years for 'O', 'A' & 'C' Levels
-5 years for 'B' Level
- Full Accreditation is granted on the
basis of:
-minimum number of candidates sent
by the Institutes for an examination (60% of the national average)
- pass percentage of these candidates in DOEACC Examination
- Renewal of Accreditation: In
case of Institutes
-maintaining the criteria of full Accreditation
-adhering to norms of Accreditation
- Withdrawal of Accreditation:
In the case of Institutes not able
to maintain the performance criteria and adherence to Accreditation
norms.

request should be addressed to Registrar, DOEACC Society.
